Mantras

Mantras

Mantras are words that may be repeated over and over again while meditating. Mantras provide a point of focus and help increase concentration.

Repeating the Mantra in stressing everyday-life situations, may bring calm and relief because the Mantra is associated with the relaxed state of meditation that we were in when we practice.

Some mantras are mystical to the meditator (may be in a foreign language) and others are in understandable languages.
I prefer to use mantras that have a meaning to me, in a language that I understand.

Mantra: I mainly use the simple Mantra “peace and quiet”

On the inhale “(1) Peace (2) and quite
On the exhale “( 3) Peace (4)  and quiet“.

Realization Mantras

Compassion mantra
Inhale “(1) with a peaceful (2) and quite mind” (mind)
Exhale “( 3) I have empathy and compassion (4) for the suffering of other beings” (heart)

Forgiveness mantra
Inhale “(1) with a peaceful (2) and quite mind” (mind)
Exhale “( 3) I forgive, I ask for forgiveness (4) and accept others as they are” (heart)

Gratitude mantra
Inhale “(1) with a peaceful (2) and quite mind” (mind)
Exhale “( 3) I am thankful and grateful (4)  for all the things I have in life” (heart)

Affirmation Mantras

Mantras may be used for affirming. Repeating the Mantra again and again may help in realizing and accepting a wanted change.

I love myself fully
I deserve….
I am not my mind
